Originally conceived for those suffering from Parkinson’s disease, this mellow class - taught by Jeanette Vasey - has blossomed into a fully-fledged restorative yoga session suitable to anyone who wants more balance and range of movement in their life. This class is slow and gentle but also incorporates a degree of challenging aspects that encourage students to build strength and thereby gain more stability, energy and confidence. Many of our yoga students mention how alive and energised they feel after this class, with gains in happiness levels and overall vitality.
This class is fully adaptable to those with limited range of movement and restricted mobility but is also suitable for those with a varied range of movement who just want something more subtle. Its is also perfectly suitable for seniors, and those suffering from long-term conditions such as arthritis and back issues as well as those recovering from injury and pain.
